Celebrate the 23rd Annual Savannah Boat Parade of Lights, supporting Greenbriar Children’s Center with festive boats and holiday cheer.
Join the community for a cherished Savannah tradition, the 23rd Annual Savannah Boat Parade of Lights. This free event brings together generations of locals and visitors to admire festively adorned vessels, each one crafted with care and creativity to kick off the holiday season in style. Led by the iconic Georgia Queen Riverboat, the parade embarks from The Dock at Eastern Wharf, with a scenic route down the Savannah River and back, giving viewers multiple chances to see these whimsical boats up close.
This year’s event once again partners with Greenbriar Children’s Center, an organization supporting Savannah’s children and families since 1949. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Greenbriar, contributing to their impactful work in the community.
The Park at Eastern Wharf is hosting an array of festivities to add to the parade experience, and the evening wraps up with an official afterparty at the Thompson Savannah Hotel. Gather your friends and family, enjoy the lights, and join us for a night that celebrates the holiday spirit and the spirit of giving back.
