A traditional St. Patrick’s Day ceremony honoring Savannah’s Irish heritage in Emmet Park.
The Celtic Cross Ceremony takes place Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. in Emmet Park. Hosted by the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, this long standing tradition honors Savannah’s Irish heritage during the lead up to St. Patrick’s Day.
The ceremony offers a moment of remembrance and reflection, bringing the community together in one of the city’s historic squares. Admission is free and open to the public.
