Celebrate Independence Day the Tybee way with a full day of community fun. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a festive bike parade looping through the island, followed by a free 7 p.m. performance from Purple Madness, a high-energy Prince tribute band live on the Tybee Pier. At 9 p.m., the evening wraps up with a fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean—best viewed from the pier and surrounding beaches. Hosted by the City of Tybee Island, this annual tradition brings locals and visitors together for music, good food, and a spectacular coastal celebration.
