Free kids’ fishing event with poles, bait, and cleaning station provided while supplies last.
Whiskers and Bobbers is a free community fishing event for kids ages 15 and under at Hallstrom Pond on Hunter Army Airfield. The morning runs from 7 to 10 a.m. and offers young anglers the chance to reel in up to five fish.
No registration is required, and a limited number of fishing poles will be available for those who don’t have their own. Bait will be provided, and a free cleaning station will be set up to prepare the catch of the day.
This event is designed to introduce kids to fishing in a fun and supportive environment, making it a great opportunity for families to spend time outdoors together.
