A free community swap where neighbors bring unwanted items and find useful items from others.
Summer Sunshine Junk in the Trunk is a free community exchange event hosted behind Savannah Arts Academy. Rather than buying and selling, participants bring unwanted household items and take home items shared by others in the community.
Popular items often include books, kitchenware, home décor, toys, and other household goods. Attendees are encouraged to bring items to share, browse available treasures, and help keep usable items out of landfills. The event is held outdoors on the bus ramp behind Savannah Arts Academy.
