Asbury Memorial offers a registered support group using spiritual practices, guided activities and discussion about grief.
Asbury Memorial Church hosts a seven week Spirituality and Grief Group for people who are at least six months beyond the loss of a loved one. Remaining sessions are Thursdays, October 15, 22 and 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. at 1008 East Henry Street in Savannah.
Kathy Hodges and Rev. August Alderman facilitate guided activities and discussion about spiritual practices, grief tools and shared experiences. The series began September 17, with earlier meetings September 24 and October 1 and 8.
