Runners take on a stair-climbing loop along the Savannah riverfront in this charity endurance race.
Rough Runners R4R INC hosts the Savannah Stone Stairs of Death Race on Sunday, October 11 from 7 to 9 a.m. The charity race offers one hour and two hour options on a loop along the Savannah riverfront.
The route includes paved road, cobblestones and uneven stairs. Runners climb the stairs rather than descending them. Ankle chip timing is used, with male and female overall awards for both distances.
Registration closes Saturday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
