Adults join a fantasy role-playing gathering with character stories, mysteries and optional foam-weapon combat at Oatland Island.
Marvelous Spiral Studios presents Portals of the Fae: The Grand Gathering at Oatland Island Wildlife Center on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. The event is for ages 18 and older at 711 Sandtown Road in Savannah, with free parking.
Participants create characters from one of three settings: the medieval and Renaissance fantasy world of Aurelia, Victorian steampunk Brasshaven, or the modern magical world Helios 3. The gathering includes mysteries, alliances, social role-playing and optional combat using foam weapons and spell packets.
New players are welcome. Participants must read the game rules before attending, and organizers will email a preliminary Zoom meeting for newcomers. Combat participation is optional. Tickets and further preparation instructions are on the official event page.
