Annual Paddle Battle with 5K, 10K, and fun races, plus food, live music, boat rides, lawn games, and family activities.
Wilderness Southeast (WiSE) will host the 4th annual Paddle Battle and Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sun Life Marina on Wilmington Island, just 20 minutes from downtown Savannah. The event features two Paddle Battle races (5K and 10K) along with a 1-mile fun race for all ages.
Beyond the races, families can enjoy a Lowcountry boil, BBQ, wings, ice cream, and a full bar, plus live music from the Crabettes and SOAP. The day also includes lawn games for kids, raffle prizes like a new golf cart and bike, and free pontoon family boat rides with Bull River Cruises. An award ceremony will wrap up the festivities.
Tickets are $25 for the fun race and $50 for the 5K and 10K races, which include food, open bar access, and a t-shirt. Non-racer tickets are also available and include food, non-alcoholic drinks, and an adult drink ticket. Children under 12 enter free.
