Join the Davenport House Museum on Friday, January 17, for an evening with Alexandra A. Chan, author of In the Garden Behind the Moon. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a preview of the “Old Chan Magic: Chinese Roots, Southern Branches” exhibit, followed by an author talk, Q&A, and book signing from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Chan, an archaeologist and descendant of Savannah’s Chan family, shares her personal journey of healing through family stories and artifacts. Admission is $10, and books will be available for purchase.
