Mystery authors and investigators gather for panels, book signings, forensic workshops and evening events in Savannah.
Hamptons Whodunit brings its mystery, thriller and true crime festival to Savannah November 6–8, 2026. Events take place at The Alida, 412 Williamson Street, and Hotel Orielle. The program combines author conversations, investigator panels, forensic workshops, book signings, dinners and social gatherings.
Featured guests include authors Jessica Knoll and Gregg Hurwitz and former New York City death investigator Barbara Butcher. Other participants include Brendan Slocumb, Sheryl McCollum, Joe Giacalone, Scott Duffey and forensic artist Joe Mullins.
The weekend panel pass is $250. Individual fiction and forensic workshops are $25. Wine & Crime and the trivia dinner are $125 each, and Sunday brunch is $75. Workshops, dinners, brunch and Savannah tours require their own tickets rather than being included automatically in the panel pass.
Book signings and the mock crime scene challenge are free, with signup required for the challenge. Public happy hours have food and drinks available for purchase. Check the organizer’s full schedule and current ticket options for room assignments, individual sessions and availability. The schedule is subject to change.
