Good Friends of Bryan County hosts a holiday luncheon in Richmond Hill with live music, community speakers and a fundraiser for two local nonprofits.
Good Friends of Bryan County will hold its third annual holiday luncheon at Richmond Hill City Center, 520 Cedar Street. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon and program run from noon to 1 p.m. Tickets are $45 and include a meal from Magnolia Grill & Catering.
Paige Glazer and Michele Henderson will share stories from the group's nonprofit partners, and Victorian Carolers and David Duckworth will perform. The fundraiser supports Bryan County Family Connection and ELEOS Food Pantry & Clothes Closet, which help local residents facing temporary financial hardship.
Nearly 150 volunteers helped make the pinecone trees used as centerpieces. The organizer is taking reservations for trees at $195 each, and two trees will be auctioned from 1 to 6 p.m. on December 3.
