Girl Scout Island Ultra & Feathers 10K

Girl Scout Island Ultra and the Feathers 10K take place at Camp Low on Rose Dhu Island on Saturday, November 21, 2026. All races start at 8 a.m. The weekend program runs November 20 through 22 and supports Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia and Camp Low.

Distances include the Feathers 10K, 50K, a 50K relay, 100K and 100 miles. Relay teams have two to five runners. The flat trail course loops through the island, and the race has a 32 hour time limit. Runners receive finisher medals and completion patches; 100 mile finishers also receive a buckle.

Registration closes November 18 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Listed totals including taxes and fees are $71.56 for the 10K, $136.62 for the 50K, $189.87 for the 100K, $243.12 for 100 miles and $349.62 for a relay team. Check the official registration page for current availability.

Friday packet pickup is 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Game Changers Running Company, 8872 Ford Avenue in Richmond Hill. Pickup is also offered at Camp Low during the Friday pasta dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. and before the race Saturday from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.

Use the organizer’s directions to Camp Low at 1912 Rose Dhu Road in Savannah. The approach includes a one lane bridge; follow signs and volunteers. The race is cupless, so bring a reusable drinking vessel. Cabins are currently sold out. Other camping arrangements have separate rules, and RVs are not allowed.

The organizer lists December 11 through 13 as a contingency weekend for extreme weather. This is a backup plan, not an announced postponement. Consult the registration page for the full camping, aid station, pacer and cancellation policies.
