Kick off Wag-O-Ween with a 5K or 1-mile fun run, costumes encouraged, followed by a free community paw-ty.
The Fun Run 5K for Wag-O-Ween is making its debut as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Savannah’s beloved Wag-O-Ween. Hosted at Howe2Run, this event invites participants to run or walk either a 5K or 1-mile route, with dogs and costumes encouraged.
Registration includes a bib, photos, and a race medal (limited quantity), and pups run for free. Early registration is $20, with day-of registration at $25. Proceeds benefit Renegade Paws Rescue and community rescue efforts through Wag-O-Ween.
Following the race, participants and the community are invited to stick around for an after “paw-ty,” free and open to all. Volunteers are also welcome to help with setup, water stations, and cheering on runners.
This family-friendly event combines fitness, fun, and philanthropy, making it a great way to start the Halloween season with your furry friends.
