A pickleball tournament with skill divisions and a $2,500 Open prize pool supports the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club.
The second annual Frank Callen Classic Pickleball Tournament takes place October 24 and 25, 2026 at L. Scott Stell Park, 195 Scott Stell Park in Savannah. Proceeds support the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club. The organizer lists the event from 9 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday; individual division times have not yet been announced.
Divisions include men’s, women’s and mixed doubles at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and Open levels; men’s and women’s Open singles; men’s, women’s and mixed doubles for players 50 and older at 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 levels; and adult and child doubles. Medals go to the top three finishers in every division. Players are guaranteed five matches, with more expected in most divisions. Divisions may be combined if entries are insufficient.
Saturday includes men’s and women’s doubles, lunch, the Challenge Circuit, a professional pickleball exhibition and adult and child doubles. Sunday includes mixed doubles, lunch, the Challenge Circuit and men’s and women’s singles. Lunch is provided both days.
The Open divisions have a guaranteed $2,500 prize pool. Men’s, women’s and mixed Open doubles award $350, $150 and $100 to the top three finishers. Men’s and women’s Open singles award $200, $100 and $50.
The Challenge Circuit includes a speed serve challenge with six attempts, Picklebowl with four balls to knock down pins, and a target challenge with five balls. Three circuit entries cost $20, with prizes for the three highest scorers.
Entry is $75 per player for one division, plus a $1.88 service fee, or $100 per player for two or more divisions, plus a $2.50 service fee. Players choose their divisions during checkout, and partners register separately. Players needing a partner can enter “NEED” and the relevant division when asked for a partner’s name. The early registration offer ended October 5.
If rain prevents the tournament from taking place, United Pickleball Experience will reschedule it or refund the full entry fee. Once a division begins play, that entry is no longer refundable. Sponsorship and donation options are available through the organizer.
