Savannah Children’s Museum hosts a turtle hatchling program with Skidaway Audubon focused on local terrapin conservation.
Diamond Terrapin Hatchling Show & Tell at Savannah Children’s Museum gives families a chance to learn about local diamondback terrapin conservation and population recovery efforts. Representatives from the Skidaway Audubon Diamondback Terrapin Rescue Project will share information about protecting coastal turtles, and children ages 6 and older may have the opportunity to hold a hatchling.
The program is included with museum admission, with free admission for Coastal Heritage Society members. RSVPs are required, and space is limited.
