Comic Currents brings more than 30 comic artists to Savannah for a convention featuring exhibits, artists, and mini comic workshops.
Comic Currents: Savannah Comic Convention will bring together more than 30 comic artists from across the Southeastern United States at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum. The boutique convention will feature artist showcases, exhibits, and opportunities for visitors to meet comic creators and fellow enthusiasts.
The event will also include “Drawn to the Sea,” an exhibit where contemporary comic artists reinterpret the stories of the S.S. Savannah, the Pulaski, and the Wanderer through illustrated narratives inspired by maritime history.
Guests can explore the museum while attending workshops focused on creating mini comics and zines. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
