Christmas in Yamacraw brings free live jazz, blues, gospel and holiday music to Yamacraw Square, with local performers and First Bryan’s Mass Choir.
Music in the Craw presents Christmas in Yamacraw, a free public celebration in Yamacraw Square. The program runs from 4 to 8 p.m. and brings live jazz, blues, gospel and holiday music to Savannah’s historic Yamacraw neighborhood.
The lineup includes Joyce Walker, Candice Smoke, TJ Music Events Entertainment and First Bryan’s Mass Choir. The gathering celebrates the neighborhood’s African American history and continues Music in the Craw’s work to bring music and cultural programming to Yamacraw.
Historic First Bryan Baptist Church, the Yamacraw Restoration Project and Andrew Bryan Community Development Corporation are community partners. The City of Savannah’s Weave-A-Dream grant supports the program.
