Chatham Funk Society and special guests Ponzu bring a free night of funk, groove, and improvisation to Broughton Street Bowl & Brew.
Chatham Funk Society returns to Broughton Street Bowl & Brew for a free night of live funk music featuring special guests Ponzu.
The Savannah-based collective is made up of veteran local musicians who joined forces to celebrate groove-driven music, improvisation, and the energy of classic funk. Their sound draws influence from legendary groups like The Meters while incorporating modern elements inspired by artists such as Vulfpeck.
Known for extended jams, tight rhythm sections, and a focus on live performance, Chatham Funk Society has quickly become a fixture in Savannah’s local music scene. Joining them for the evening is Ponzu, adding another layer to a lineup centered on funk, soul, and improvisational music.
The event is open to guests 21 and older and admission is free.
