Family-friendly Bug Fest at Savannah Children’s Museum with hands-on STEM activities, live insect encounters, and educational exhibits.
Bug Fest returns to the Savannah Children’s Museum as an annual family-friendly event focused on nature, science, and hands-on learning. The event features interactive STEM activities, live arthropod encounters, and educational experiences designed to highlight the role insects play in the ecosystem.
Attendees can explore a range of activities including the Eat-A-Bug Club, a ceremonial ladybug release, and a Teddy Bear Clinic hosted by medical students. Additional programming includes opportunities to learn about pollinators, build mini bee hotels, and meet animal ambassadors like reptiles and amphibians.
Community partners and local organizations will also be on-site offering demonstrations and activities related to environmental science, conservation, and insect education, making it a well-rounded event for families and kids.
