Trinity United Methodist Church offers individual pet blessings and a service of remembrance at Telfair Square.
Trinity United Methodist Church has rescheduled its Blessing of the Animals from October 10 to Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. in Telfair Square. The church says the change was due to a hurricane bringing constant rain. The event image shows the original October 10 date.
The gathering includes remembrance and thanksgiving for current and deceased pets, followed by individual blessings for each family. Pets should be on a leash or in a proper cage.
An offering benefits Renegade Paws Rescue and the Savannah Humane Society.
