Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes and Kasim Sulton perform in the Behind the Hits concert series.
Thomas Claxton’s Behind the Hits concert series features Elliot Easton and Greg Hawkes of The Cars with Kasim Sulton at Armstrong Fine Arts Auditorium. Claxton hosts a question and answer discussion about their careers, followed by a concert with an eight member band performing music by The Cars and other selections. Easton’s guitar and Hawkes’s keyboards helped shape songs including Just What I Needed, Let’s Go, Shake It Up and You Might Think. Both were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Cars in 2018.
