Explore banned books, censorship resources, and learn about current challenges during Banned Books Week.
The Stacks Bookstore will host the Banned Book Fair as part of the annual nationwide Banned Books Week. Taking place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the fair invites the community to explore and engage with books currently being challenged or banned in schools and libraries across the country.
Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a curated selection of banned titles, learn about the reasons behind censorship efforts, and connect with resources for opposing book banning in their own communities. The event emphasizes intellectual freedom and highlights the importance of access to literature of all kinds.
This event appeals to readers, educators, students, and community members interested in free expression and the fight against censorship.
