A longtime local fundraiser serving barbecue plates in support of marine rescue efforts.
The Coffee Bluff Marine Rescue Squadron’s Annual BBQ Dinner Fundraiser returns with a full day of classic Lowcountry barbecue and community support. Held at the squadron’s facility along the Forrest River, the event serves thousands of meals each year and is a staple spring fundraiser in the area.
Each plate includes barbecue, coleslaw, Brunswick stew, and a roll, with proceeds going toward the squadron’s ongoing operations. Funds support search and rescue missions, assistance in water emergencies, and safety efforts at local marine events.
