Vicious Biscuit’s Savannah restaurant now has an address: 7400 Abercorn Street, between Eisenhower Drive and Mall Boulevard. The Charleston-based breakfast and brunch chain is preparing to open its first Georgia location, though an opening date hasn’t been confirmed.

Local restaurant operators Kelly and Tim Paslawski are behind the Savannah location. The couple also operates Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in the region, adding another breakfast and lunch option to their local restaurant businesses.

Biscuits are at the center of the menu, with combinations that go well beyond the usual egg and cheese. The Fat Boy pairs fried chicken with pimento cheese and hot honey on a buttermilk biscuit. The Vicious starts with a cheddar jalapeño biscuit and adds fried chicken, maple sausage gravy and candied jalapeños.

Other dishes include an open-faced biscuit with blackened shrimp and white cheddar grits, plus fried chicken served with a sweet potato waffle. There are simpler breakfast sandwiches, too, including sausage, egg and cheese. On the sweeter side, the chain serves cinnamon cream cheese-filled beignets topped with strawberries.

The Savannah restaurant’s application for a liquor and wine license, including Sunday sales, went before the city as part of the September 10 meeting agenda. That’s another step in the preparations for the Abercorn Street location.

For now, Savannah remains listed as coming soon on the Vicious Biscuit website, with local hours and an opening day still to come.
