Tybee Gets a New Pizza Spot Just in Time for Summer

Farace’s Finest on Tybee Island serves fresh pizza, sandwiches, and drinks with a laid-back outdoor setup and a menu built for beach days.

I finally had the chance to check out Farace’s Finest Pizza and Pints, a newer addition to Tybee’s food scene that’s already making a name for itself. It’s got that classic beach setup: only outdoor seating, plenty of fresh air, picnic tables, and even a few cornhole boards.

The pizza? Very solid. I tried the Foxy BBQ Chicken and was impressed. The sauce had great flavor, the crust was light and crisp, and you can tell they take pride in what they’re doing. They make the dough and marinara in-house and finish every pie with freshly grated parmesan reggiano. Everything tasted fresh.

Beyond the pizza, the menu covers all the bases: sandwiches made with Auspicious Bakery bread, a few solid apps like garlic knots and hummus dip, and a drink list that includes local drafts, canned cocktails, and even THC seltzers. It’s laid-back, casual, and easy to enjoy.

With summer right around the corner, this is the kind of spot that’s going to hit just right. Cold drinks, good food, and the beach just a few blocks away. If you’re already on Tybee or just making a day trip, Farace’s feels like a no-brainer stop.
