Thunderbolt’s new pickleball complex is welcoming its first visitors. The Thunderbolt Dink Dome began a soft opening on November 1 at 3109 East Victory Drive, with the opening period continuing through November 14.
The complex brings five covered pickleball courts together with a restaurant, coffee shop, cocktail lounge and pro shop. It is open to the public, welcomes players of all skill levels and does not require a membership.
Dinky’s Kitchen is the full-service restaurant, while Rally Roast Coffee Co. serves coffee, smoothies and fresh baked goods. Courtside Lounge adds drinks alongside the courts, and the pro shop carries paddles, accessories and apparel.
The daily schedule runs from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the courts, restaurant and pro shop. Rally Roast is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the lounge opens at 11 a.m.
The project comes from Rickey and Whitney Greer, who have built the space for both pickleball players and people stopping in for a meal or coffee. The soft opening brings the Victory Drive project into operation after months of construction.
