A new kind of coworking space is opening soon in Savannah. Switchyards, a “neighborhood work club” with more than two dozen locations nationwide, is opening its first Georgia club outside of Atlanta this July, with a new space coming to 217 E 41st Street in the Starland District.

The idea is simple: a clean, stylish space to do focused work, meet with people, or just escape your house for a few hours, all without the high cost of a private office. For $100 a month, members get unlimited access to all 27 locations (including the Savannah one), plus 24/7 entry, free locally roasted coffee and organic tea, fast Wi-Fi, and complimentary phone booths and meeting rooms.

Switchyards doesn’t rent traditional offices. Instead, think of it like a cross between a well designed coffee shop, a quiet college library, and a boutique hotel lobby, all curated for productivity. It’s a calm, no-frills environment for people who want to get stuff done without distractions, with a layout designed to support solo work and small meetings alike.

It’s a natural fit for Starland, where more and more creative professionals, freelancers, and remote workers are looking for places to work that feel local and low pressure.

Memberships are open now, with doors expected to open in the coming weeks. You can learn more at switchyards.com.
