Savannah’s Southside has a new burger and chicken spot to try. Smashbird is preparing for a grand-opening celebration on Saturday, October 17, at 13051 Abercorn Street, Suite B5.
The restaurant’s menu centers on smash burgers, hand-battered chicken tenders and wings, along with fries and housemade sauces. Online ordering is already available through the restaurant’s website.
The celebration is planned for 5 to 9 p.m., following a ribbon cutting listed for 4:30 p.m. Plans include music, gift-card giveaways and coupons, along with a visit from SmashTown’s mobile rage room.
Outside the opening celebration, Smashbird lists regular hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
