Savannah Restaurant Week returns Jan 26–Feb 8, 2026 as Hostess City Eats! with dining deals, rooftop hops, and a chef-led fish fry event.
Savannah Restaurant Week is back this January with a new name and a few added twists. Now called Hostess City Eats!, the 11 day dining event will run from January 26 through February 8, 2026, featuring three-course meals, food focused events, and plenty of ways to explore Savannah’s restaurants during the slower winter season.
The event is organized by Jesse Blanco of Eat It and Like It, who’s been behind Savannah Restaurant Week since 2018. While the event remain the same, fixed-price menus at local restaurants, this year will include a few new additions meant to make it more interactive and community driven.
It all kicks off Monday, January 26, at District Live inside the JW Marriott, where Blanco will host a live panel discussion with local chefs about the current state of Savannah’s food scene. Afterward, guests can head to the Riverfront Ballroom at Plant Riverside District for a casual night of food and drinks from the evening’s featured chefs.
From January 28 through February 7, there’s the new Drink It and Like It Rooftop Hop, a challenge to visit up to ten Savannah rooftops in eleven days. Anyone who checks in at seven or more will be entered to win prizes like a Savannah staycation and other local giveaways.
Then on Sunday, February 1, the event shifts to the #FancyFishFry — a reimagined outdoor fish fry where Savannah chefs will serve their take on Southern favorites, complete with local ingredients, house made sauces, and cold beer. The exact location will be announced soon, and early bird tickets for this and the opening night event are available through November 30.
Aside from these new additions, Savannah Restaurant Week will continue as usual with three-course menus at special prices across dozens of local restaurants. Details and participating spots will be listed soon at hostesscityeats.com.
Blanco says the goal isn’t necessarily to make the event bigger, just to give locals more ways to enjoy Savannah’s food scene. “Our vision has always been to elevate the community and give visitors a reason to celebrate it with us,” he said.
Whether you’re trying somewhere new or returning to an old favorite, Hostess City Eats is shaping up to be a good excuse to get out and enjoy some of the city’s best food this winter.
