Pritchard & Co. Opens on Broughton Street

A familiar Savannah name has quietly returned in a new form. Pritchard & Co is now open at 207 W Broughton Street, marking the next chapter of the former Starland Cafe.

While the name is new, the heart of the concept will feel familiar to longtime fans. Pritchard & Co. carries forward many of the dishes and sensibilities that made Starland Cafe such a neighborhood favorite, now reimagined for a downtown setting. The move to Broughton Street gives the restaurant more visibility and space, while keeping its focus on approachable, well made food.

The opening is also notable for what it represents downtown. Broughton Street continues to see heavy turnover, but locally rooted restaurants remain relatively rare. Pritchard & Co. joins a small group of independent operators bringing something distinctly Savannah to one of the city’s busiest corridors.

For those who missed Starland Cafe after it closed earlier this year, this feels less like a replacement and more like a continuation. And for anyone who never made it to the original location, Pritchard & Co. offers a fresh introduction in a much more central spot.

Pritchard & Co. is currently open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with plans to expand service over time.
