A First Look at Marbled & Fin, Savannah’s Newest Steakhouse

From the seafood tower to the bone-in filet, here’s our review of Marbled & Fin and why it stands out among Savannah’s steakhouses.

When Marbled & Fin announced it was bringing its Charleston steakhouse concept to Savannah earlier this year, expectations were high.

After finally getting the chance to experience it ourselves, we can confidently say it lived up to them.

From the moment we walked through the doors, the service stood out. Every member of the staff seemed genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience. Rather than simply taking our order, they guided us through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish.

The meal itself was just as impressive.

The Mae’s Milk Bread and Seafood Tower are both standouts. The milk bread arrives warm with whipped butter and is the perfect way to start the meal, while the seafood tower delivers an impressive assortment of fresh oysters, shrimp, lobster, and more. We even found ourselves pairing the milk bread with the lobster, creating an unofficial lobster roll that was every bit as good as it sounds.

One surprise standout was the Robuchon Potato Purée. Calling it mashed potatoes almost feels unfair. Rich, incredibly smooth, and packed with buttery flavor, it’s easily one of the best sides we’ve had at any restaurant in Savannah.

For our entrée, we chose the bone-in filet, cooked exactly as ordered with a perfect crust and a tender, flavorful center. It’s everything you’d hope for from a modern steakhouse.

Beyond the food, what really makes Marbled & Fin stand out is the complete experience. The restaurant strikes a balance between upscale and comfortable, with an elegant dining room that never feels overly formal. Combined with attentive service and a thoughtfully designed menu, it feels like the kind of place that’s equally suited for a special occasion or an unforgettable dinner out.

Savannah has no shortage of great restaurants, and Marbled & Fin has quickly earned a place among the very best.

If you’ve been thinking about making a reservation, we’d say it’s well worth it.
