Savannah’s first 7 Brew location is on the way. The drive thru coffee chain, which already operates nearby locations in Pooler, Hilton Head, and Hinesville, is currently under construction on Mall Boulevard between Wendy’s and La Nopalera Mexican Restaurant.
While there has not yet been an official announcement about the Savannah location, construction is clearly underway at the site. The new building appears to be taking over a portion of what was previously Wendy’s parking lot, creating a new outparcel along one of the city’s busiest commercial corridors.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, 7 Brew is one of the fastest growing drive thru coffee chains in the country. Founded in Arkansas in 2017, the company has expanded rapidly throughout the Southeast and has built a loyal following around its speed focused service model and extensive drink menu.
Unlike a traditional coffee shop, 7 Brew locations are designed almost entirely around the drive thru experience. Most feature multiple drive thru lanes, outdoor ordering stations, and a relatively small building footprint. The goal is simple: get customers through quickly while still offering plenty of customization options.
The menu goes well beyond coffee, featuring hot and iced coffees, cold brews, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, and flavored energy drinks. Their “7 Energy” drinks have become especially popular among customers looking for an alternative to traditional coffee.
While an opening date has not yet been announced, the project is making visible progress. Once complete, Savannah residents will no longer have to drive to Pooler, Hilton Head, or Hinesville to see what the growing coffee chain is all about.
